The PetSafe Busy Buddy COW – a great toy for dogs to play with. The COVE is almost a ball, although it rolls in the wrong direction and has poor bounce, but it can be played just like its classic counterpart.
The toy is made from durable natural rubber, so it's perfect as a chew toy if your dog likes to actively chew on something. The Busy Buddy Cow will also help you wean your pet from destructive chewing and introduce him to this toy, thanks to the fact that it can be used as a container for treats. To do so, it's designed with a cavity to accommodate treats or food inside. To get the tasty treats, all your pet needs to do is chew or shake the toy and the treats will randomly fall out. Such fun with the obligatory tasty reward is sure to please your dog.
The treats are loaded and fall out from a single hole located in the «head» of the cow. The dispenser is arranged in such a way that the internal cavity of the toy has several soft rubber prongs facing inwards, so the treats are retained inside the toy and do not fall out freely. You can adjust the dainty release rate depending on the number of teeth inside the container. Initially the maximum number, but you can easily correct this by trimming some with scissors. You should be guided by your dog's temperament as to how fast and how much of the toy should be filled. Be careful: you can't put the prongs back in!
Size M/L (diameter 8 cm) for dogs weighing 10-32 kg (example breeds: Border Collie, Bulldog, German Shepherd).
Every dog is different and has his own way of playing, so always keep an eye on your pet. This will help the toys last longer and, most importantly, keep your dog safe from the unexpected. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from play if parts start to break or tear.
INSTRUCTION
1. Fill the inside of the toy with food or treats and give them to your dog to test. If you are happy with the frequency of the food, don't change anything.
2. If you are unhappy with how the treats spill out of the spout, take scissors and cut a few prongs off the inside of the container. This will help you get the treats or food out more quickly. Be careful: the prongs cannot be put back in!
