NexGard COMBO is a new generation combination product for cats that works against ectoparasites and endoparasites - fleas, ticks, roundworms, tapeworms and their larvae. Comprehensive protection for your pet for 1 month in one applicator!
This dosage (0.9 ml) is intended for adult cats weighing 2.5-7.5 kg and for kittens over 8 weeks old. When administering, special attention should be paid to long-haired breeds to ensure that the product is applied directly on the skin and not on the coat, as this may lead to lower bioavailability of the active ingredient.
The active ingredients in the product provide effective protection and treatment after 1 treatment against:
- fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) - protection for 1 month;
- ixodes ticks:
- kills Rhipicephalus sanguineus in 48 hours, provides protection for 6 weeks,
- kills Ixodes Ricinus in 48 hours, Ixodes scapularis in 72 hours, provides protection for 5 weeks,
- kills Ixodes holocyclus, Amblyomma americanum, Haemaphysalis longicornis in 72 hours, provides protection for 1 month; - itch ticks (Notoedres cati);
- otodectosis mites (Otodectes cynotis);
- tape endoparasites (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia taeniaeformis, Echinococcus multilocularis, Joyeuxiella pasqualei, Joyeuxiella fuhrmanni);
- gastro-intestinal nematodes:
- L3, L4 larvae and adults of Toxocara cati,

ESAFOXOLANER is the (S)-enantiomer of afoxolaner, a class of isoxazoline active against arthropods. It blocks GABAergic receptors in arthropods, resulting in disruption of nerve impulse transmission, paralysis and death of parasites. Toxic only to arthropods and harmless to mammals. Fleas and ticks are killed within 24 and 48 hours after treatment, respectively. Esafoxolaner kills fleas before they lay their eggs, thus preventing the risk of infestation of the premises by parasites.
EPRINOMECTIN increases the permeability of endoparasite cell membranes to chlorine ions, resulting in hyperpolarization of nerve or muscle tissue membranes, paralysis and death of parasites. Eprinomectin is effective against nematodes in the digestive tract and outside it, as well as their migrating larvae, active against sarcoptoid mites.
PRAZIQUANTEL is active against tapeworms.
Indications for use:
- protect cats and kittens from infection with piroplasmosis (babesiosis), borreliosis (Lyme disease), which is transmitted through the bite of ixodes ticks;
- protection against dirophylyariasis (heartworms), which are transmitted through mosquito bites;
- treatment of cestodoses;
- treatment for nematode infestations in the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract;
- prevention of elurostrongylosis;
- treatment of capillariasis;
- flea infestation (aphanipterosis);
- flea allergy dermatitis (FAD);
- effective treatment for otodectosis (ear mite);
- effective treatment of notoedrosis (itching).

Contraindications:
- increased animal's individual intolerance to the active or excipient components of the product;
- kittens under 8 weeks of age and weighing less than 0.8 kg.
Product form:

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS (per 1 ml of the drug): esafoxolaner - 12 mg, eprinomectin - 4 mg, praziquantel - 83 mg.
INGREDIENTS: glycerinformal, dimethyl isosorbide, butylhydroxytoluene.

INSTRUCTION
The product is applied externally by application to dry, unbroken skin, according to the minimum recommended dose: 1.44 mg esafoxolaner, 0.48 mg eprinomectin and 10 mg praziquantel per kg bodyweight.
Select the appropriate applicator size for the weight of the cat:
- for cats 0.8-2.5 kg - 0.3 ml applicator;
- for cats 2.5-7.5 kg - 0.9 ml applicator;
- for cats weighing more than 7.5 kg, use a combination of applicators of different volumes.
1. Use scissors to cut the blister along the dotted line.
2. Pull off the cap and remove the applicator from its packaging, keeping it in an upright position. Pull the piston back slightly. Rotate and remove the cap.
3. Part the hair on the midline of the neck, between the base of the skull and the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
4. Place the tip of the applicator on the skin and apply the entire content directly onto the skin in one spot. The product should be applied to dry skin on an area where the cat cannot lick it off. In long hair breeds, special attention should be paid to apply the product onto the skin, and not on the hair to ensure optimal efficacy.
5. Wash your hands after applying the product.
APPLICATION SCHEME
For treatment against flea and/or ixodid tick infestations and/or sarcoptoid mites and simultaneous treatment against digestive and/or respiratory and/or bladder nematodes and cestodes, 1 dose of the product should be used. The need for and frequency of repeated treatment should be determined by the veterinarian prescribing the drug, taking into account the local epizootological situation and the animal's lifestyle (for example, access to the outdoors).
For further treatment of dirophilariosis, or respiratory tract nematodes, treat according to the schedule prescribed by the vet and use a narrower spectrum of drugs to ensure sustainable treatment against the relevant parasites.
In regions where respiratory nematodes of cats are common, animals can be treated monthly to reduce the risk of adult respiratory nematodes (clinical aerostrongylosis) and to treat potential reinfection with cestodes. Otherwise, a narrow-spectrum drug should be used for further treatment. Monitoring of treatment efficacy (and a decision on the need for re-treatment with a narrow-spectrum drug) should not be made before 2 weeks after treatment with NexGard COMBO.
For treatment against ear mites (sarcoptoid mites), seek further advice from your vet 4 weeks after treatment to determine whether an additional treatment with a narrower-spectrum product is necessary.
PRECAUTIONS
1. DO NOT use on kittens under 8 weeks old.
2. DO NOT use on animals weighing less than 2.5 kg or more than 7.5 kg.
3. DO NOT apply to animals other than cats.
4. DO NOT separate the contents of the applicator when adjusting the dosage.
5. DO NOT shampoo the cat within 2 days of applying the product.
6. Avoid getting the product in the animal's eyes and mouth.
7. Consult your vet before using the drops on weakened, elderly, sick animals.
8. Some medicines are incompatible with pesticides. Consult a veterinarian before using the product on an animal taking medication.
9. If you have other animals, isolate the treated animal from them and do not allow them to lick each other until the product is completely dry on the coat.
10. To reduce the possibility of re-infestation by fleas, it is advisable to treat all cats living together at the same time. Other animals living in the same room should also receive appropriate treatment.
11. Do not allow adults, and especially children, to pet the cat until the product is completely dry on the coat. It is recommended to treat animals in the evening to reduce their contact with humans.
12. Various stages of flea development can infest bedding, bedding and common areas such as carpets and upholstered furniture. In case of a mass flea infestation, these areas should be treated with appropriate products and vacuumed regularly.
13. Do not drink, eat or smoke while handling the product. Wash your hands with soap and water after handling the product.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Take the applicator out of the packaging only before use. Store the product in a dry place, protected from light and out of the reach of children and animals at 2-25°C.
