Instructions

Kaytee Alfalfa Hay is high-quality alfalfa hay without preservatives or additives. Provides healthy digestion and tooth grinding for your pet: rabbit, guinea pig, chinchilla, and other herbivorous rodents for which hay is an important part of the diet. Ideal for growing rodents up to 1 year old, as well as pregnant and lactating females.

High-quality hay is an essential part of a proper and healthy diet for any rabbit and herbivorous rodent. It is an excellent source of fiber and a quality feed that promotes healthy dental and intestinal health in rodents. Alfalfa is a valuable forage crop that contains a high concentration of vitamins, microelements, and amino acids that are necessary for herbivorous rodents and rabbits during a certain period of their life. Alfalfa - improves digestion, strengthens the immune system, and has diuretic and anti-inflammatory properties.

IMPORTANT! Alfalfa hay is not recommended for adult animals in the daily diet on a regular basis, as high protein levels can contribute to rodent obesity, and high calcium levels can lead to the formation of bladder stones. For adult rodents, Kaytee Alfalfa Hay can be given occasionally as a treat or added to other hays for greater palatability. For young animals, this is an ideal food that promotes the active growth of rodents and the formation of strong and healthy bones, and in lactating females, alfalfa hay helps to normalize lactation.

At Kaytee, we understand how important your little pet's health is to you. Therefore, grasses for making high-quality hay are grown in an ideal climate and ecological environment, taking into account the control of humidity and without the use of pesticides. Herbs are dried in the sun, hay is harvested under the most optimal conditions. Leaves and stems are hand-selected for size and in strict proportions for proper digestion of domestic rodents. Hay is stored in a protected environment to ensure quality and superior nutritional value.
