What is your self-warming material composed of?
The self-warming material is actually metalized plastic, similar to that in which you'll find in space blankets. This metallic property basically allows the pet's body heat to reflect back to your pet.
Could a self-warming product be used outside?
While our self-warming products are great for the indoors, they are not designed to return enough body heat for the cold outdoor temperatures of winter. Rather, they are designed to elevate the temperature of a pet bed that is already around room temperature.
