England pouter

The English Pout is a breed of fancy pigeon bred through many years of selection. English puffers, along with other varieties of domestic pigeons, are descendants of rock pigeons (Columba livia). This is a very old breed. It has been known and recorded since the 1730s. It was bred in England, probably from the Dutch puffin and the stable pigeon. There is a dwarf breed without a standard.
